Refund Policy

1Overview

At Skykids Africa, we want every family to feel confident in their investment in their child's tech education. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued.

2Cooling-Off Period

New students are entitled to a 7-day cooling-off period from the date of first payment. If you are unsatisfied with our services within this period, you may request a full refund minus any administrative fees (KES 500). To qualify, the student must have attended no more than 2 sessions during this period.

3Mid-Module Cancellation

If you cancel after the cooling-off period but before completing a module (4 sessions): • Before Session 2: 75% refund of the module fee • Before Session 3: 50% refund of the module fee • After Session 3: No refund (module is considered substantially delivered) Refunds are calculated on the per-module fee for the enrolled course tier.

4Term Payments

For students who pay per term (3 modules): • Refunds for unused modules within a term are issued at the per-module rate • Partial module refunds follow the mid-module rules above • No refund is issued for completed modules

5Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable: • Registration/administrative fees • Sessions already attended • Materials already downloaded or accessed • Classes missed without prior notice (no-shows)

6Service Disruptions

If Skykids Africa is unable to deliver a scheduled class due to our fault (teacher unavailability, platform outage), we will either: • Provide a make-up session at no extra cost, or • Issue a pro-rata credit for the missed session This does not apply to disruptions caused by the student's connectivity or equipment.

7How to Request a Refund

To request a refund: 1. Email skykidsafrica@gmail.com with subject "Refund Request" 2. Include: Student name, Student ID, course enrolled, reason for request 3. We will acknowledge within 2 business days 4. Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days 5. Refunds are issued via the original payment method (M-Pesa or bank transfer)

8Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may appeal by writing to our management at skykidsafrica@gmail.com. We commit to resolving all disputes fairly and within 14 days.
