Scratch Programming for Kids in Kenya

Scratch is the world's most popular block-based coding language for children. At Skykids Africa, we teach Scratch to children aged 7–13 across Kenya — online and in schools. Kids build games, animations, and interactive stories while learning the core logic of programming. No prior experience needed.

Python for Kids and Teenagers in Kenya

Python is the most in-demand programming language in the world — and it's also one of the most beginner-friendly. Our Python track is designed for children aged 10 and above. Students learn variables, loops, functions, and build real projects including simple apps and data tools.

Web Design and Development for Children

We teach HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to children aged 12 and above. Students build real websites from scratch and leave with a portfolio they can show to schools, universities, and future employers.

AI and Artificial Intelligence for Kids

Artificial intelligence is shaping every industry. Our AI literacy track introduces children to how AI works, how to use AI tools responsibly, and how to build simple AI-powered projects. Designed for ages 12–18.

Robotics and Physical Computing for Kids

Hands-on robotics sessions where children build and programme physical devices. Develops engineering thinking, problem solving, and creativity. Available as school programmes and holiday bootcamps.

CBC-Aligned Digital Literacy for Kenyan Schools

Kenya's Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) includes digital literacy as a core learning area. All Skykids Africa programmes are designed to complement and extend CBC digital literacy goals at every grade level — from pre-primary through secondary.

Coding Classes in Nairobi

We run coding classes for children across Nairobi — in schools, as after-school clubs, and online. Whether your child is in Westlands, Karen, Eastlands, Kiambu, or anywhere in between, we can reach them.

Coding Classes in Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru and Beyond

Skykids Africa is not just Nairobi. We deliver online coding classes to children across Kenya — Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Thika, Nyeri, and more. Any child with a device and internet connection can join.

Holiday Coding Bootcamps for Kids in Kenya

Our holiday bootcamps run during school holidays — April, August, and December. Intensive, fun, and structured. Children make more progress in one bootcamp week than in a full term of casual exposure to technology.

Coding for Pre-Primary Children (Ages 3–6)

Even the youngest children can begin developing computational thinking. Our pre-primary programme uses screen-free activities, logic games, and pattern recognition to build the mental foundations of coding — without a screen in sight.

Coding for Primary School Children (Ages 7–13)

Our primary school track covers Scratch Jr, Scratch, Python basics, and web design fundamentals. Children progress through structured levels and build a real portfolio of projects by the time they complete the track.

Coding for Secondary School Students (Ages 14–18)

Our secondary track prepares students for the digital economy. Python, JavaScript, app development, AI literacy, and capstone projects that are portfolio-ready. Ideal for students preparing for university or careers in tech.

Online Coding Classes for Kids in Kenya

All our programmes are available online. Live, instructor-led sessions via video call. Small class sizes so every child gets attention. Flexible scheduling around school timetables. All you need is a device and internet.

In-School Coding Programmes for Kenyan Schools

We partner with schools across Kenya to deliver coding as a club, a timetabled class, or a full curriculum integration. We provide the instructor, the curriculum, and all materials. Schools just provide the space and the students.

Teacher Training in Coding and Digital Literacy

We train teachers to deliver coding and digital literacy lessons confidently. A sustainable model that builds internal capacity in your school so you are not dependent on external instructors forever.

STEM Education for Children in Kenya

STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics — is the foundation of the modern economy. Skykids Africa's programmes build genuine STEM skills through hands-on coding, problem solving, and project-based learning.

Game Development for Kids

Children love games — and they love making them even more. Our game development track teaches children to build their own games using Scratch and Python. A powerful hook that keeps kids engaged and learning.

App Development for Teenagers in Kenya

Our app development track teaches teenagers to build real mobile and web applications. Students learn the full development process — from idea to design to code to deployment.

Digital Skills for the Future — Starting in Kenya

The jobs of 2030 and beyond will require digital fluency. Children who learn to code today are not just learning a skill — they are learning how to think, how to build, and how to solve problems. Skykids Africa exists to make sure African children are not left behind.
